Proposals regarding specialised gender identity services for adults
NHS England proposes to change the process for providing specialised adult gender identity services by:
- Appointing up to two Gender Identity Clinics to perform the role of a Lead Provider (National Trans Health Unit)
- Establishing a National Referral Support Centre to assist individuals in their choice of surgical provider

NHS England is seeking comments on these proposals on or before 24 July 2018.
