Oxford University Research: Experiences of trans and gender diverse young people and of their parents and carers

Two important learning resources are now available on the experiences of trans and gender diverse young people and of their parents and carers. This material is based on research conducted by the University of Oxford and funded by the National Institute for Health Research:

These resources are dedicated to Terry Reed, a member of the project advisory group who sadly passed away before their completion. Terry and her husband, Bernard Reed, helped trans activists to set up GIRES in 1997 following their trans daughter’s successful industrial tribunal case against her former employer.
