Cross-National LGBT Psychological Wellbeing Study (UK)

You are being invited to take part in a research study that is being conducted by the University of Glasgow, University of Ghent (Belgium), KU Leuven, (Belgium), Transgender Infopunt (Belgium) and the Netherlands Institute of Health Research (NIVEL; Netherlands).

Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) individuals have been identified as being at higher risk of experiencing poor mental health, suicidal ideation and engaging in suicidal behaviours than people who are not LGBT. Despite the fact that the LGBT community has been consistently identified as an ‘at risk’ group, there is very little research in this area. This study is aiming to find out more about psychological wellbeing in LGBT individuals, particularly in relation to any thoughts or behaviours around self-harm and suicide.

Before you decide to participate, it is important for you to understand why the research is being conducted and what it will involve. Information is on the website after you follow the link below.
