Leicestershire LGBTQ+ Centre

For over 46 years, Leicestershire LGBTQ+ Centre has been a cornerstone of support for the LGBTQ+ community in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. We are dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for individuals of all sexual orientations and gender identities.

Our wide range of counselling services includes both general counselling and specialised domestic abuse counselling, providing professional, confidential support to help individuals navigate personal challenges. We also offer a variety of social and support groups, catering to different needs within the community. These include dedicated spaces for youth, adults, transgender individuals, and a support group for loved ones of LGBTQ+ individuals. Additionally, we foster creative expression and community bonding through activities such as our LGBT community choir, The Pantones, and Quest, a Dungeons and Dragons group for LGBTQ+ enthusiasts.

In addition to these services, Leicestershire LGBTQ+ Centre is committed to promoting inclusivity across broader society. We provide training for organisations, offering tailored sessions to help businesses, schools, and community groups understand and support LGBTQ+ individuals effectively. Our training covers best practices in creating safe, affirming environments and improving awareness of LGBTQ+ issues.
