Porchlight

We are an NHS funded project that operates under the umbrella of Porchlight, one the biggest homelessness charities in Southeast England. This is because research has shown that LGBT+ people are disproportionately affected by homelessness. So our aim is to offer support for the community at an early age to help them build confidence and find likeminded young people to feel a sense of belonging. Hopefully that will help them to make healthy choices that will ultimately prevent future homelessness. We also work with families of young LGBT+ people in the hope that they will understand their children better and allow them space to grow and flourish in their identity rather than reject them.
