Supporting Gender Diverse Children and Young People

GIRES and Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust have created this CPD accredited e-learning resource to help professionals and families understand the needs of gender diverse children and young people. The e-learning programme is designed for:

• Health and social care providers;
• Medical professionals;
• Educational professionals; and
• Families of gender diverse children and young people.

The programme consists of three e-learning modules each of which will take about 25 mins to complete.

Following a decision in the High Court on 1 December 2020, the provision of hormone blocking and gender affirming medication, as described in this resource, may have to be approved by a Court order.

Please note, that if you use the Open Access Session, your progress and completion of sessions will not be recorded and you will not be able to generate a record of completion.
