GIRES and Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust have created this CPD accredited e-learning resource to help professionals and families understand the needs of gender diverse children and young people. The e-learning programme is designed for:
- Health and social care providers;
- Medical professionals;
- Educational professionals; and
- Families of gender diverse children and young people.
The programme consists of three e-learning modules each of which will take about 25 mins to complete.
Following a decision in the High Court on 1 December 2020, the provision of hormone blocking and gender affirming medication, as described in this resource, may have to be approved by a Court order.
Please note, that if you use the Open Access Session, your progress and completion of sessions will not be recorded and you will not be able to generate a record of completion.
If you require evidence of learning and wish to acquire CPD points, please register and pay £10 to access the training. You will then be sent a log in to access the training.
