Since the forum's inception in December 2001, it has helped many transgender people come to terms with themselves, make new friends, get out and about and take their place in the world. As a result, we are helping transgender people to become more visible to more and more people in the UK and other parts of the world. There are an awful lot of us out there and this forum can act as a meeting place or starting point for many of us.
