Position and Statements on Hate Crime
Fife Constabulary take homophobic incidents seriously and we are working with our partner groups to eliminate homophobic incidents against lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgendered communities in Fife.
We recognise that many homophobic incidents go unreported leaving offenders free to commit similar offences with impunity. Indeed many offenders consider minority communities an easy target because many incidents are not reported. Reporting incidents means you can help us to build up patterns of crime and catch offenders.
Don't suffer in silence.
