Position and Statements on Hate Crime

Our community promise comes as a result of much listening to and talking with our communities, and others who have a vested interest in making Dumfries and Galloway a safer place to live.

It sets out quite clearly the key areas in which we will concentrate and focus on in the coming year - areas such as our commitment to community policing, levels of crime across the region, the way we police our vast roads network and issues around the abuse of drugs and alcohol.

Steeped in our community promise is also our commitment to deliver a professional and high standard of service to the people of Dumfries and Galloway.
