Welcome to the Manchester Concord Website. Manchester Concord and under an earlier name of Northern Concord was a social group for trans people, predominantly trans-women, though trans-men were very welcome. The group met every Wednesday evening in venues across the Gay Village in Manchester. The aim was simple: for a safe, welcoming, non-judgmental environment for people to explore and experience their gender identity. It was not a support group in any formal sense, though many, many people were able to get help and support through the relaxed and informal nature of the environment.

Sadly, after nearly 30 years it was decided to formally close the club at the end of 2018. Weekly attendances fell below levels that made it viable to maintain a gathering every week.

We have now moved across to this free version of our website as we no longer have funds available to buy webspace.
