Horizon LGBTQ+

Horizon lgbtq+ is a community development project in Blackpool, which is part of the Wider Horizon integrated Drug, Alcohol and Sexual Health service, funded by Blackpool Council and Public Health and facilitated by Renaissance UK. Established in 1986, Renaissance UK is a Blackpool based charity that delivers services across Lancashire, predominantly funded by local authorities. Horizon lgbtq+ has a small team of workers and volunteers who facilitate peer support groups and offer heath and wellbeing guidance and interventions to those identifying as lgbtq+ in Blackpool. All staff and volunteers are DBS checked and responsible to the governing charity, Renaissance UK. Our group room is on the first floor of the building. There is a stair lift to access but no disabled toilet facilities. Currently we can only support the English language We do not currently offer changing rooms.

Covid 19 Details:
Group numbers have been limited and prior booking is required to secure your place with one of our team. Staggered arrival times are given and temperature checks and face coverings are required whilst moving around the building. The group space is set out to ensure social distancing is observed and group times have been cut to one hour. Details are recorded for NHS Track and Trace and use of the NHS COVID APP is encouraged.
