Subscribing to our feeds
GIRES is pleased to offer RSS and email subscriptions to alert you about updates to the material on the site. A simple introduction to RSS and available readers is offered here by the BBC. If you choose to to subscribe to one of our RSS feeds your reader will automatically advise you that a new item has been published here.
If you choose to use one of the email subscriptions an email will be sent to you the morning after the relevant material has been updated; if there is no change, no email will be sent. The email will contain all the items in the feed that are current at that time. You may discontinue this service at any time by clicking the link in the email.
Using our feeds
We encourage the use of GIRES feeds as part of a website, however, we do require that the proper format and attribution is used whenever GIRES content appears. The attribution text should read “GIRES” or “gires.org.uk” as appropriate. Please also note our copyright policy.
