Parliamentary Question about Transphobic Bullying in Schools

On 1 March 2007, Dr Lynne Jones MP, Chair of the Parliamentary Forum on Transexualism, asked the Secretary of State for Education and Skills what steps he is taking to combat bullying of transgendered children in schools. In a reply dated 7 March 2007, Mr Jim Knight MP said "my officials are meeting transexual representative groups to discuss their concerns, and we will consider how best to proceed in the light of these discussions".
