Early Medical Treatment for Transsexual People - A review of the different approach in the UK, compared to other advanced countries, to treating adolescents who experience profound and persistent gender dysphoria.
Early Physical Intervention for Young People with Atypical Gender Identity Development - A synopsis, including references, of the article by Bernadette Wren, Consultant Clinical Psychologist at the Portman Clinic, London, that was awarded the GIRES Research Prize in 2001. This examines the issues relating to early medical treatment for adolescents.

Information for MPs - "Transsexualism - The Inside Story", a paper that was distributed to all MPs by Dr Lynne Jones MP, Chair of the Parliamentary Forum on Transsexualism, during the debates on the Gender Recognition Bill.
Court Information for Transsexual Parents - A guide for trans parents who resort to the courts to obtain custody of or access to-their children.
Transition at Work - A guide for trans people and their employers on changing gender role in the workplace.
Employment Discrimination and Transsexual People - A report, written for the charity by Dr Stephen Whittle, based on research it conducted among trans employees. It showed that the law was not preventing harsh discrimination against them in the workplace.
Statutory Declaration of Name Change - A form that enables people embarking on gender role transition to achieve, at low cost, a change of name on their documents and records. (Hard copy only)
Funding Provided - application forms for use by (a) Local Family Support Groups who wish to receive a grant to help them get established and (b) Trans People on Low Incomes (less than £200 per week) for reimbursement of the expenses they incur in educating those in a position to improve their lives.

It describes work on the brains of transsexual people that points to a neurobiological basis, established in early development, for the condition of gender dysphoria.
Pediatric Ethics and the Surgical Assignment of Sex - A synopsis, including references, of the article by Professor Milton Diamond and Professor Kenneth Kipnis that was awarded the GIRES Research Prize in 1999. It debunks the theory of John Money that gender identity can be reliably imprinted by mode of rearing and argues against early surgery for infants born with ambiguous genitalia except in life threatening conditions.
Transgender Rights: The European Court of Human Rights and New Identity Politics for a New Age - A synopsis, including references, of the a work by Dr Stephen Whittle that was awarded the GIRES Research Prize in 2000.
