This research is exploring trans people's experiences of living, working and socialising in Liverpool. The research is underpinned by a human rights based approach and is keen to illuminate the health and social inequalities of trans people in their everyday lives.

The work is informed by NEF's 'dynamic model of wellbeing'. Wellbeing, in this context, is defined as 'a dynamic state, in which the individual is able to develop their potential, work productively and creatively, build strong and positive relationships with others, and contribute to their community.
